Devops Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end infrastructure setup, deployment automation, and ensuring optimal system performance across production environments.

Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure from scratch using AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Configure and manage Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, VPCs, networking, and security policies
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless and automated build and deployment processes
Dockerize applications and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS / GKE)
Ensure high availability, scalability, and maintain 99.9%+ uptime of production systems
Monitor infrastructure, logs, and system performance; proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues
Maintain and support existing live websites and applications
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Manage database infrastructure, including backups, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies
Enforce security best practices such as IAM policies, SSL, firewalls, and data encryption
Optimize cloud costs and continuously improve infrastructure efficiency
Create and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and system architecture

Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, VPC, DNS, and security configurations
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong understanding of Linux systems and scripting (Bash/Python)
Experience with database management and backup strategies
Good understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
