    Senior HR Generalist
    Job Purpose

    Co-ordinates with Management, Operations and People to ensure a safe, consistent, profitable and smoothly functioning Organization. This is achieved by a thorough understanding and awareness of the operation; excellent people skills; quick and effective decision-making; and thorough planning, organizing and follow up. Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.

    Responsibility

    • Organization Culture – To build and create a strong and ethical culture on the foundation of which the com employees are able to flourish
    • Recruitment - Maintain a database of candidates and ensure a steady pool of candidates is available at all times. Routinely coordinate with Management and Operations to understand hiring requirements and employ strategies to get the right candidates within a reasonable amount of time
    • Retention – Work closely with Operations to predict and prevent attrition. Maintain attrition database and share with Management on a regular basis. Demonstrates leadership qualities that achieve high levels of staff motivation and retention.
    • Staffing – Maintain an updated staffing register
    • Responsible for communication, administration and reporting of policies wherever applicable. Ensures adherence to the company’s policies, standards and procedures. Reports and takes timely action on account of any deviation from the organization policy.
    • Employee Engagement – Coordinate with Operations to plan activities to motivate employees
    • Branding - Responsible for keeping up the public image of the Organization at all public forums. Update and routinely maintain the public profile of the Company in social media applications. Presents a professional image to employees and team spirit to improve performance, retention and growth strategies.
    • Statutory and Labor Compliance – To ensure company is compliant to all relevant labor laws and statutory requirements. Including ESI, PF, LWF.
    • Communicates regularly with Employees at all levels to understand their pulse and give feedback to the Management
    • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
    • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
    • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies

    Qualification

    • MBA in HR
    • Minimum 4 years experience in HR. Experience in BPO preferred
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
    • Experience in MS Office Software (MS Word - document creation/editing, Excel - spreadsheet creation/editing, data entry and analysis, and PowerPoint - presentation creation/editing)
