  • Team Lead – Software Development (PHP)
    We are currently seeking hands-on, tech passionate Software Development Team Leader to join our Team. Because of the amount of scale and speed requirements at our world-class clients, the deployment of this industry-leading platform is always a huge undertaking and requires extensive production experience and deep software engineering knowledge.

    The idle candidate should have built distributed high performance computing systems in multithreaded environment. He /She should have extensive knowledge in handling large size of real time data.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies; analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.

    Collaborate with the appropriate departments /clients to develop, communicate and maintain a technology plan that supports organizational needs.

    Direct development and execution of an enterprise level software applications.

    Integrate customer service and support with the software process to support resolution of customer issues and improve application usability.

    Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations.

    Ensure continuous delivery of cost-effective technical services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of systems, programs, and equipment performance.

    The Software Development TL will provide technical and leadership coaching & mentorship to the complete Technology Team. Coordinate quarterly / yearly performance reviews with team members and organize annual goal settings sessions.
    Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals. Leverage open source and other technologies and languages.

    Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system.

    Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated to the Development Team.

    Work with development teams in an agile context and actively participate in daily code reviews & standup scrum. Organize and execute on all meetings pertaining to the agile methodology. Inculcate values such as shared vision, a customer focused mind-set, a product mind-set, a zero-defect mind-set, and a willingness to learn in all members of the team.
    Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team

    Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop based business applications.

    Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans

    Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

    Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code Package and support deployment of releases. Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies


    Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Adhere to high quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget. Provide third level support to business users. Research and evaluate a variety of software products

    Required Skills:
    7+ years of PHP development experience in building frameworks (Zend & Laravel)
    In capacity of managing team working with Zend & Laravel
    Knowledge in CakePhp/Codeigniter/YII
    Extensive database experience with MySQL & PostgressSQL
    Extensive knowledge in HTML and XML skills, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery etc.
    Experience with responsive design, and using fallback techniques to support older browsers
    Experience with code repositories (git, BitBucket) and disciplined approach to branching code.
    Experience introducing concepts and technologies to an application architecture that provides the ability to scale
    Experience in automated software testing
    Experience developing your own testing tools to facilitate testing is a plus
    Experience Server, network, database and hosting environment
    Experience with developing for APIs and building Web Services
    Some experience with JavaScript including experience with object-oriented JavaScript frameworks, such as Backbone, Knockout, Angular, or Dojo
    Ability to meet tight deadlines and give accurate time estimates
    A desire to constantly learn new things and stay on top of the cutting edge of front-end design and development
    Play a lead role in the architecture, design and delivery of the projects (front-end and back-end) with a focus on User Experience, performance and scalability
    Be responsible for developing and testing performance critical components of the system and collaborate closely with team members designing software and hardware
    Experience in working with a SCRUM or Agile team
    Payment gateway integration Knowledge
    Good communication and interpersonal skills
    High degree of organizational skills

    Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions
