    Job description

    Phases is a growing IT company with offices in Denmark, India and USA. We are looking to hire a strong person to join the management team as a CFO. We have a number of financial processes that needs to be optimized and implemented throughout the organization and are looking for a person that has experience within financial processes and how to optimize them. Phases is looking to scale up the business and grow further and the CFO will be a key person in making that happen.

    Minimum requirements/Skills

    >Minimum 4-5 years of experience
    >In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
    >Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
    >Ability to strategize and solve problems
    >Experience with international businesses since Phases is located in multiple countries
    >Strong leadership and organizational skills
    >Excellent communication and people skills
    >An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
    >Have done bookkeeping before (Sending invoices, reminders, credit/debit, rules of bookkeeping)
    >Experience and knowledge with finance automation

    Tasks and responsibilities

    >Execute the financial strategy of the company
    >Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
    >Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company
    >Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
    >Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
    >Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
    >Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans
    >Make sure all tax filings, yearly reports and other things are send to the government in proper time and is correct.
    >Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
    >Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
    >Evaluate and optimize on how the business is doing based on data
    >Ensure financial tasks are taken care of daily
    >Implement operational best practices
    >Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
    >Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
    >Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
